About the artist: Woodworking has always been a part of Warren Carpenter’s life. What else would you expect from a Carpenter? He graduated from Clemson College of Architecture in 1975 and subsequently worked as a home builder for 30 years while he built furniture and sculpted wood in his spare time. He lives in Seneca, SC where in 1999, his passion changed direction towards turning wood. Warren was juried in to the Southern Highlands Craft Guild in 2003 and today is still always looking for that special tree that may someday become a unique turning.
