Collection: Keith Pawlak

Keith grew up close to the mystic monument Stonehenge in the South West of England, where he worked with wood as a pattern and mold maker. His projects have included Euro Disney, The Channel Tunnel, slides, pools, and flumes for water parks and numerous architectural items such as columns, dormer windows, pediments and cornices. Since moving to the mountains of WNC where he works as a carpenter, he has been crafting locally sourced wood into objects of art. Keith enjoys finishing his projects using the Japanese technique Shou Sugi Ban, the art of preserving and finishing wood using fire.
