Katie Meili Messersmith Lady Vase

Handcrafted in Asheville, NC, Katie Meili Messersmith creates functional pottery with a zen-like satisfaction inspired by her adopted Chinese American roots.

Her signature geometric dots serve two purposes. The first is surface decoration and the second is that they add traction so that when you grab ahold of this vase, you have a good grip. Dots are each added precisely by hand using slip in a bulb syringe.
